Fishing Guides

Lake Buchanan is very popular with Striper Bass fishermen.  Bass fishing on the lake is usually very good. Striped Bass, White Bass and Black Bass are plentiful.  Bass are stocked in the lake from time to time.   There are also Catfish and Crappie in the lake.

Lake LBJ is also a large lake with a lot of fishing and boating activity.  Lake LBJ is a "normally constant level" lake and is the premier lake for fishing and boating activities in central Texas.  The many coves and the irregular shore line make Lake LBJ particularly attractive to boaters and fishermen.   The scenery along the lake is very pretty.

Inks Lake is one of the smaller lakes but is noted for its beauty and quality of life.   Fishing is excellent either from the shore or from a boat.  It is considered a normally constant level lake with very protected waters.  Because the lake is protected from high winds, it is excellent for fishing and boating year round.  A lot of nightime fishing is also done on Inks Lake.

If you want to catch your limit, a fishing guide is the way to go. They can show you how to catch them and where to look for them.
