Want a relaxing getaway?  Looking for a shady spot to spend the weekend?  Come sit by the shore of Lake LBJ in the cool shade at Little Lodge where you can catch your supper or just relax and unwind as the lake breezes gently soothe your senses.  Enjoy our shallow, level, sandy-bottom swimming area.

Lake LBJ is a "constant level" lake that is popular for boating, waterskiing, fishing and all water sports.  We don't have a problem with low water.  The lake is 22 miles long and is a boater's paradise.  

The owners, Neal and Linda Stennett, have worked hard upgrading the facilities and plan to continue improvements in the near future and will go out of their way to see that your stay at Little Lodge on the Lake is memorable and enjoyable.

Little Lodge on the Lake is located on the shore of Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas.  We are only a 60 minute drive northwest of Austin, 75 minutes north of San Antonio and a 4 hour drive from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.

Launch your boat at our boat launch.  Guests also have a lot of fun with our paddle boat.  Boats are also available for rent locally.  It is only a short stroll from the cabins to your boat.

Fish from our fishing pier or from the deck chairs along the lake.  Our non-fishing guests also enjoy sitting by the lake watching the other people fish and enjoying the water, the boats and the breeze.  

Want to do a little swimming in the lake?   Lake LBJ's clean, clear water is ideal for swimming.  We have a shallow swimming area that you will enjoy.

At days end our guests enjoy sitting by the lake and watching the beautiful sunsets over the water.  Later in the evening our firepit by the lake will provide a fun family marshmallow roast or a romantic evening under the stars.

Our large cabin sleeps up to eight people

Have you ever had that wonderful experience of sleeping in a screened-in porch with gentle lake breezes lulling you to sleep?  You will love the screened-in porch on our large cabin!  This may be a new "favorite" experience for the younger generation.  Our large cabin sleeps up to eight people and comes with a complete kitchenette, a picnic table, BBQ, two bathrooms, two entrances, and plenty of shade.

The kitchens in the cabins come completely equipped with pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils, coffee pot, etc.  Bath towels and bed linens are furnished.  Please bring your own towels for lake use.

   Small dogs are welcome with prior approval - $10 per night
   All cabins are smoke free.  Receptacles are provided for smoking outdoors.
   We are not set up to accept charge cards.  Cash or checks only, please.
