March 28 - 30.....Marble Falls.....The 3rd Annual BLUEBONNET BLUES & FINE ARTS FESTIVAL is scheduled for March 28th thru the 30th on Main Street in Marble Falls. Texas legends will entertain with Traditional, Tejano, Cajun, and Gospel Blues. Two live Pianoramas round out the musical program. While the music is playing, you can watch as artists bring Marble Falls to life on canvas; fine art vendors from across the state will have booths set up on Main Street. Cajun Crawfish, Texas Fajitas, New Orleans Style Gumbo, Burgers, Dogs, and a variety of drinks will be available. April 11,12 & 13.....Burnet.....Annual Bluebonnet Festival - Festivities for the weekend include Burnet Gunfighter’s Shootout, the arrival of the Hill Country Flyer train, the Kiwanis Bicycle Tour, a 5K fun run, a vintage custom car show with over 100 classic cars at Hamilton Creek, live entertainment all weekend, with a Saturday night Street Dance on the Burnet Square with performances by Josh Grider, Texas Renegade, Rich O’Toole and Wade Bowen! Enjoy shopping at one of the more than 200 craft and food vendors. Kids will especially enjoy the Friday afternoon Pet Parade, the 5th annual Weiner Dog race on Sunday, the bicycle decoration contest on Saturday and the Mighty Thomas Carnival starting on Thursday night with wristband night! April (?).....Lake Buchanan - at Cedar Lodge.....Hill Country Regatta Big Hobie Cat Fleet 64 Sailing Regatta Saturday starting at 11:00 and Sunday starting at 10:00am. Sailboat rides will be offered on a donation basis. 45 to 50 Hobie Cats are expected. Guests $5 donation goes to the Big Brothers and Sisters in Austin. May: May 2 - 4.....Llano.....'Hawgs-N-Hills Rally' will take place 9 miles north of Llano on Hwy 16. This shindig will be much more entertaining than your everyday motorcycle rally. This giant production will also feature spectacular entertainment including stunt motorcyclists, a motorcycle rodeo and music from several top musical groups of today.
